The Kelvin is a 301-unit garden-style apartment community. The project sits on 14 acres between Cumming Research Park and MidCity Huntsville, at the center of northwest Huntsville. The area is one of the fastest-growing areas of the city and offers a “Live, Work, Play” lifestyle. The Kelvin is part of a branded master-plan development next to The Collins, a senior living facility developed by Vitality Living, and 6 acres of retail / office space. The Kelvin offers both convenience and affordability. The project offers convenience to major developments like Providence, MidCity, and Research Park, while maintaining a low cost-basis that enables competitive rents. The Henry

The Henry is a 325-unit apartment community in Charlotte, NC. The project includes 2 whole city blocks and 2 half city blocks, spanning from West 26th to West 28th Street and from Catalina Avenue to North Poplar Street.  The project is at the center of the rapidly growing and urbanizing North End submarket, with Camp North End to the West, NoDa to the East, and Uptown to the South. As the city of Charlotte continues to grow, North End and North Tryon Street are quickly transitioning, and The Henry is ideally situated to contribute to and take advantage of this growth. The Henry compliments another Stonehenge project next door called Pine25. The Henry is garden style product with open breezeways, featuring balconies or patios on every unit, a standalone clubhouse, pool, outdoor kitchen and seating, beach volleyball court, and dog park.

Crossroads Community – Phase I

Crossroads Community Phase I will be developed on one of the pad-ready sites being developed in the Crossroads Community horizontal development plan. Phase I will occupy 35 acres that feature views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and will include 262 units across three building types. They include six buildings, and all buildings will be 4/5-story splits with open-air corridors and elevators as well as seven garage buildings. Floor plans will range from 532 SF studio units to 1,323 SF three-bedroom units and will feature Class A unit finishes. The amenities will reflect the spirit of the outdoors that is pervasive throughout Asheville and will feature a swimming pool, a fitness room with a yoga studio, a grilling and fire pit area, a dog wash and a playground. Residents will also have access to the greenway that is being constructed as part of the horizontal development plan, and this greenway will ultimately connect to the larger Asheville Greenway System. With its accessible West Asheville location, residents are minutes from Asheville’s best coffee shops and breweries as well as popular neighborhood destinations like Downtown Asheville, South Slope, the River Arts District and Biltmore Village.

Crossroads Community is a horizontal development plan on 55 acres in the high barrier-to-entry market of Asheville, North Carolina. The site, which is 2.5 miles from Downtown Asheville, is ideally located in the trendy West Asheville neighborhood and has 2,500 feet of frontage on I-240/I-26. The wooded, elevated site also has 4,100 feet of frontage along Hominy Creek.  The horizontal site plan will create three pad-ready sites for two phases of 510 Class A multifamily residential units to be developed by Stonehenge and a 150-unit senior living facility. Horizontal development will include the following: construction of a new access road with curb and gutter into the site, landscaping, off-site traffic improvements, construction of a greenway along Hominy Creek as well as the installation of all utilities.

 

Borough 33

Borough 33 will include 310 apartment units spread across three buildings on a 9.4-acre site located at the intersection of W 33rd Street and Williams Street along the burgeoning South Broad Corridor. The apartment buildings will be surface parked with elevators and conditioned corridors. Gated parking will be provided for all residents with the option to rent one of the 30 garage spaces.  The leasing center will be located in the clubhouse which is a 6,000 SF standalone amenity building. The courtyard in the center of the development will be home to many of the development’s amenities including the fitness building, pool deck, dog park and spa, beer garden and fire pit area. Borough 33 will feature frontage on the city of Chattanooga’s Riverwalk Trail extension into the Alton Park Neighborhood, a very unique amenity for residents to enjoy. This property is a consulting project for Stonehenge.

Artisan on Tyvola

Artisan on Tyvola is a 12.12 acre property at the intersection of Tyvola Road and Old Pineville Road. The site includes three land parcels at the former location of Keffer Auto Dealership. The property provides residents with the convenience and excitement of urban living at an affordable price point. Charlotte’s Blue Line is just steps away from the property, connecting residents with the rest of city.

In addition to the residential space, there will be approximately 8,000 square feet of common area amenities including a fitness center, yoga studio, pool, game room, clubroom, shared office space, and private office space. The property will include four four-story, elevator served buildings with on-site surface parking. The unit mix will include studio, one, two and three-bedroom units across floor plans from 559 to 1,400 square feet of livable space. Stonehenge was a development consultant on this project.

Pine25 @ Northend

Pine25 @ Northend Apartments will consist of 294 apartments and lots for 19 homes/townhomes. The project is located 2 blocks West of North Tryon Street from West 24th Street to West 26th Street enclosed by Catalina Avenue and North Popular Street. The property contains 3 ½ city blocks. The apartment homes will be surface parked, elevator served, and walk-up style homes. They will mimic an urban garden style apartments community spread over the 3 ½ city blocks in 3 story buildings. Over 50 units will contain garages with an additional 25 stand-alone garages offered to residents for a premium. The amenities will include a large pool courtyard, fitness center, large lounge and smaller lounges in each of the other large buildings. Stonehenge is an owner of this project.

The Collins

The Collins was a well located property in Huntsville in the Research Park. It included 284-units with 2 types of buildings. They included 4 buildings that were 3-story with enclosed corridors and elevators, and the other 10 buildings were 2-story with garages attached to each apartment. The amenities were comparable to a resort with an extra large courtyard that included a resort-style pool, fitness building, yoga lawns, gas fire pits, and grilling area that included cabanas and seating areas. The property was about 25 acres and was part of 40 acre branded master-plan development, including another apartment community called The Kelvin, a senior living facility developed by Vitality Living, and 6 acres of retail / office space. The first phase of this property was a consulting project for Stonehenge, and is also next door to another Stonehenge consulting project called The Kelvin.

Amaze @ NoDa

Amaze @ NoDa began construction in August 2018 and finished in August 2020. Amaze created a distinctive niche and was designed to meet the needs of the cost conscience young professional worker and student/staff in NoDa, Uptown, Plaza Midwood and UNC Charlotte. The property was designed with young singles and young couples in mind who want to take advantage of urban living while having the amenities typically offered in an urban location, plus NoDa District, the new extension of light rail and Charlotte’s Greenway as its neighbor. By offering a four-story, elevator-served building with on-site surface parking, upgraded amenities, two courtyards and interior corridors instead of breezeways, Amaze specifically addressed this preference for urban style living while offering a sense of community by being a part of the NoDa District neighborhood. These units were designed with efficient floor plans in order to make the most of every square foot. This property was a consulting project for Stonehenge.

Duet Apartments – Opus 31

Opus 31 completed in April of 2017 added depth to our sister project Opus 29, with shared amenities this 80 unit Class A multifamily community completed the project to be 219 total units and create a more institutional sized asset. Adding to the already existing upscale features and amenities, a pool courtyard, elevated courtyard with outside gazebo, large resident office space and conference room. This property was a consulting project for Stonehenge.
